A friend of mine suggest I do something like this. It was after a long conversation yesterday at work where this subject came up since they were visiting for Northen california. I was supposed to work on this last night, but I had a massive headache when I got home. So I slept 'til midnight. I was up ever since...

These are most of the places we visited and/or passed (know of) on the way to something else. But for any "Japan-o-phile" visiting the South Bay, check'em out.

On the left navigation bar, look for the "SoCal Otaku Hot Spots" button. If not, click on the empty button on the left navigation bar. That'll take you to the right place...I hope. As you can see, I this site still needs some work. But it's getting there with my limited knowledge of HTML.

Anime Expo 2008 Day 4 - The Last Day

Because of today’s tight schedule, we all had to get up early, pack our belongings, skip out on breakfast and get to the convention center. At the convention center, Tim and Lawrence got in line for another signing. Adrian and I got some coffee at Starbucks. There was nothing else to do we we chilled. At that time, there was hardly anyone around. But in about hour, there were lines for the dealers room that stretched around back the convention center.

We decided not to get get in line and just walked around. Good thing. In the West Hall, we caught up with the Sailor Moon cosplay gathering. Wow, we actually caught a gathering...our one and only. Adrian took the pics. And while he was doing that, there was this convention security guard that was taking pictures of cosplayers too. We chatted a bit. This was his first time to encounter a group like AX. Eventually he headed back to the dealers room and made final purchases. Tim met up with us there while Lawrence was still in line for a signing.

It was almost time to head back to the hotel to check out, so we tried to meet up with Lawrence in Artist Alley. This was my first time there all week. It was pretty huge to my surprise. Well, Lawrence was still in line by the time we had to leave. Tim wandered off and we lost sight of him. We tried to call him, but his cell died. We waited and we left.

When we reached the hotel, Lawrence finally finished. I called him up to find Tim and head back to the hotel grab out stuff. I finished my packing since I only did a little this morning. Tim and Lawrence finally showed up. We grabbed our stuff and made like trees and left.

So that was it, the end of our Anime Expo 2008 trip.
