As I will start my reviews from now on.....

These are my own PERSONAL opinions, if you agree or not, I don't care. Yes my grammar is off, so what.

SPOILER ALERT! SPOILER ALERT!

“Hanazakari no Kimitachi e” staring Maki Horikita as MIzuki Ashiya and Shun Oguri as Izumi Sano was, how do I say, very air-headed. I found myself being forced to watch to the end of the series, only because I wanted to see the ending. I think if your looking for something with a bunch of guys to drool over then this is the one for you. As for quality, it sucked. Maki Horikita is not a good actress. She needs to take some acting lessons on improving her voice and her facial expressions. Yeah she's cute, but so what. I think that's the main reason this drama had a lot of watchers, was just for the looks, which in my opinion weren't that great...well except Yuusuke Yamamato (he was a cutie!). Next in line is Shun Oguri. Now talking about people needing lessons, he's definitely top priority. Good thing he got his looks to help him get by because without those, he would be in trouble. Not only is his monotone voice boring but he just doesn't bring any life into the character. But when I think about it, the rest of the characters had so much life it kinda even things out. Talking about the other actors, I think it was nice to see more life into them then the manga. I think in that aspect the drama did good.

Now on to the plot of the story. Not much to say actually. Yes it was definitely different from the manga, but which drama isn't. Actually i should've written this review right after watching it, its been awhile. But I guess the thing that really stuck to me were the actors. Heh, I guess they were that bad in my eyes.

Not sure if you can call this a review, but meh.

THE END

THE HORROR OF THE DEATH NOTE MOVIES!

Ok. Just to start off these are my own PERSONAL opinions, if you agree or not, I don't care. But these feelings just have to come off my chest and yes my grammar is off, so what.

SPOILER ALERT! SPOILER ALERT!

Death Note and Death Note - The Last Name starting Tatsuya Fujiwra as Light and Ken'ichi Matsuyama as L was one of the worse movies I've seen thus far. First off Tatsuya does not make a big impact as Light, he was just awful. As many of us have read the manga, Light being the main character, has a huge impact on the story. From the moment he starts going crazy after realizing that L is on to him to the moment he dies. Of course the manga and anime may have more dramatic moments but to have those moments acted out in the movie would've made everything come together more smoothly, would've gotten the audience more into the whole story. Ken'ichi, oh what can i say about him. I think he made an OK L. Of course the whole role of L wouldn't be as hard to play as Light. As for the rest of the actors, well what can I say, none of them made a big impression on me...well I guess you could say Ryuk was the best actor of them all, heh, Shido Nakamura is a great voice actor.

Now on to the plot. Oh dear, what can I say. Of course it didn't go anything like the manga. Instead of the Death Note being passed to Higuchi, its passed to Takada. That alone was stupid. I mean, yeah she wanted to become this top anchor, but it just threw the whole story off. In the manga Higuchi had a good enough rule, that in my opinion, should stay so in the movie. Having Light regain his memory after having capture Higuchi was an awesome moment and would've been cool to see. L writing his own name in the Death Note to test it... I mean....COME ON! Light kill off L in the manga, that was one of the best and dramatic moments! It was a "Holy Shit!" moment! Near nor Mello were even mentioned, which totally pissed me off. I mean they had huge rules in the manga and were vital to the plot of the story. They were the ones that brought down Light. L alone was not good enough. There was so many changes in this movie, these are the ones that mostly made me upset. I think Nippon Television needs more money for these kind of movies or whoever pays up for it, I think then it might be a better quality movie.

I think next time I'll have to be more careful about which movie I pick. But I do gotta say this, the anime is one of the best that I've see in years.

The End!
